You do not need an appointment. All patients are seen on a first-come, first served basis.
3. What is a nurse practitioner?
A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse with an advanced degree and training who is able to diagnose and treat common conditions working with a local physician. Nurse practitioners are licensed to order prescriptions and provide treatment when appropriate.
4. What is the role of the collaborating physician?
The role of the collaborating physician is to supervise and oversee treatments prescribed by the nurse practitioner. This collaboration ensures that you receive the very best professional care.
5. Which conditions are treated at Easy Access Healthcare Medical Clinics?
Easy Access nurse practitioners treat common conditions such as strep throat, ear infections, urinary tract infections, and skin rashes. Nurse practitioners can order the appropriate medications for these conditions when needed.
6. Who can be treated at Easy Access Healthcare Medical Clinic?
Children 2 years and older as well as all adults.
7. Which tests or screenings are available at Easy Access Healthcare Medical Clinic?
At Easy Access, you can receive most common urine and blood tests. Our tests include, but are not limited to, strep throat, mono, screenings for diabetes, high cholesterol, anemia, urinary tract infection, drugs of abuse, and clotting time for patients on anticoagulant therapy.
8. How much does it cost?
Treatment of common conditions such as strep throat, common colds, ear infections, urinary tract infections, rashes, and more cost $55.00. The cost of diagnostic tests supplies, etc., may incur an additional charge.
9. Does Easy Access Healthcare Medical Clinic accept insurance?
Currently, Easy Access is a cash-based provider. We are in negotiations with several insurances companies and look forward to accepting Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances in the near future.
